Stars Fail to Close Out Avalanche
Game 5 Goes to Colorado
The Dallas Stars were unable to close out the Colorado Avalanche in Game 5 on Wednesday, extending the series to Friday's Game 6 in Denver.

The Stars had a chance to win the series in regulation, but they were unable to convert on a power play in the final minutes of the game.
The series is now tied 3-2, and Game 6 will be played in Denver on Friday night.
The Avalanche are now one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals, while the Stars are facing elimination.
